Yeesss… is already out the latest release of Adobe AIR runtime environment the 1.5 this one is the latest one since his release on February 25 2008. This update includes the support of Adobe Flash Player 10, encryption of local databases and a Web Kit update. Adobe Flash CS4 Professional, Flex Builder 3, Dreamweaver CS4, and Aptana Studio authoring tools have also been updated to support AIR runtime.

El siguiente post presenta 60 aplicaciones desarrolladas para ejecutar de forma desktop. Muchas de ellas ya las he presentado en post anteriores, otras son nuevas para mi, nunca las había visto. Lo importante es que cada una de ellas están forjando la base de lo que puede llegar a ser el Internet en un futuro. Les recomiendo que las bajen las usen y juzguen ustedes mismo de la versatilidad que tiene Adobe AIR. Espero que puedan apreciar hacia donde se esta dirigiendo la tecnología poco a poco consistentemente.

¿Que tiene de diferente esta versión de las otras versiones? Primero tiene support de videos full-screen HD así mismo es se puede ver videos HD full con un consumo menor de recursos. También se le incluyo el poder de manejar efectos especiales 3D bajo su authoring tool. Ahora en el authoring tool de Flash se puede manejar los elementos 3D, no crear… manejar. En el nuevo CS4 es suele ser mucho más fácil e inteligente el poder manejar estos elementos y efectos. Su programación AS3 es más poderosa y ha sido llevado a otros niveles les recomiendo que lo bajen para que así no se pierdan de nada aquí les incluyo el enlace.

Adobe AIR como he explicado en post anteriores es un ambiente que trabaja bajo diferentes plataformas (Windows, MAC OS, Linux) que ejecuta programas a nivel de desktop application (RIA). Programas que corren como programas regulares a nivel de desktop comunicándose con data en el Internet. Adobe Flex es uno de las diferentes herramientas para desarrollar Rich Internet Applications (RIA). Un buen ejemplo de este concepto es la página Connect Now, en estasabían les presento eBay desktop. Es eBay pero a nivel de desktop application, trabajando bajo el ambiente de AIR si realmente eres o no fiebru de eBay te recomiendo que bajes esta herramienta todo funciona de manera real-time esta super finooo… Lo único que por lo menos a mi me incomoda un poco es que haces todo el proceso rápido pero en ocasiones se tarda en llegar las cosas.
