Illustrator is an amazing tool to create vector graphics, for me is the third most valuable application from Adobe. But like all applications they need help, that’s why people create brushes. Why we need brushes with Illustrator? The answer is very simple, we search for brushes because we don’t want to reinvent the wheel.

Like every programmer should know, we as programmers do not redesign the wheel. Why? Cause on this days the faster you do a good work, the more job demand you will get. Clients don’t care about how you do it, all they want is to see the program work for what they need it for. Working with Flash sometimes take a lot of time, specially when the client doesn’t explain clearly what he wants. Even get worse when after you present them a demo they say “that’s not exactly what we are looking for”. That’s why components exist they are like a package that comes with all the files needed for that special task that you are working on. All you need is to attach, send some parameters or call some function, it all depends on the type of component.

Adobe AIR is for me the future of Internet, is the perfect tool to produce cross platform RIA. I know that in a very short time AIR will be on 90% of the machines around the world I know that if I bet on that one I will get the cash.
